Seattle Day 3 – Wedding Day

Saturday was the big wedding day!

Chris and I started out with a 6 mile run at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. It was so amazing. The weather was nice and cool for running, and the paved loop was closed to cars. It felt cool to be seeing something that only walkers, runners, and bikers could access at the time, and running in a new place always makes me feel so grounded and there. There were lots of running trails that criss-crossed around the Point, and we saw some great vistas of the harbor.

After our run we headed back to get cleaned up and ready for the big event. The wedding was at Annie Wright school, where Katie attended as a child. The campus was pretty, with brick buildings, pretty corridors, and archways. The ceremony took place in the chapel, and the reception was help in an outdoor courtyard. We enjoyed dancing, drinking, and partying with everyone, and we also had fun times in the photo booth. We are so happy for Graham and Katie!
