As I mentioned in Wednesday’s post, we spent Labor Day weekend in Nashville to celebrate Mandi and Mike’s wedding. Woot woot! I’m so happy for these guys.

The festivities took place at Ruby, which is really close to Vanderbilt University. Mandi and Mike put together a beautiful event. We went over to help with the decorating Sunday morning, and that’s where I took most of my photos (my mom did too… some of these are hers).

Watermelons? (It became clear at the cocktail hour, and it was awesome.)

Amy, Hilary, and I were in charge of dressing the high-top tables. It took way more effort than one would expect, but they looked fabulous.

There was so much baby’s breath!

After decorating we all headed back to the hotels to get pretty, and then we returned to party that evening. I was too busy having fun to take too many photos, but my favorite parts of the wedding were their puppies as ring bearers, the watermelon mojitos, the macaroni and cheese bar, and the ceremony reading of the lyrics from Hanson’s MmmBop (why is this not being used as a wedding song?!?).

You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You go through all the pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they’re gone so fast
Oh yeah
And they’re gone so fast, yeah
So hold on the ones who really care
In the end they’ll be the only ones there
And when you get old and start losing your hair
Tell me who will still care
Can you tell me who will still care?
Oh care

Mmmbop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du

Congratulations you two!
